HERITAGE ADVISORY SERVICES
Heritage Advisory Services assist Local
and State Governments and the community to best conserve and manage the
heritage assets of an area. Consultation and evaluation with each State
and Territory of Australia of current services has confirmed the
effectiveness of these services across Australia.
McDougall & Vines regularly provide advice to Local and State and
Commonwealth Government Authorities on:

The extent and significance of
heritage places and local conservation areas, with the provision of
guidelines and recommendations for the management and appropriate
development of these areas

Architectural and conservation advice
for property owners

Interpretation of legislation at local

Delegated authority for places listed
in the State Register (in certain states only) and assistance with
management of State heritage listed properties
